From June 9th to 14th, Raphaël and Mads attended the Helgoland 2025 centennial conference, celebrating 100 years of quantum mechanics. Through presentations, panel debates, and poster sessions with leading experts on the interpretation and application of quantum physics, the program covered a wide range of topics from wavefunction collapse to quantum simulators. Quantum-controlled mechanical systems were a recurring theme of particular interest to us, showing up in the hunt for dark matter, quantum gravity, macroscopic superpositions, as well as gravitational wave detection and quantum transducers. We’re excited for the next 100 years!
