QPL’s first results published!

The first results of the lab have been published. Our Letter published in Optica presents conceptual, design, and experimental results on fully clamped silicon optomechanical crystals (OMCs). Our clamped OMCs have greatly increased thermal interface area while retaining strong optomechanical interaction. We look forward to investigating how this affects its thermal properties at millikelvin temperatures.
